The Markos Family at Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch at Boca Park, October 2019

This is a post written by me for Halloween Town. Thank you for hosting our family with all day ride wrist bands and family packs. The opinions and text are all mine.

Lyric and London love pumpkin patches, and for the last three years it has become an annual family tradition in October. Before having kids, I don’t think I’ve ever been to one. But now that we have our little family, it’s all about creating lasting memories.

The pumpkin display

In Las Vegas, there are quite a few pumpkin patches to choose from, and each year we pick a different one visit. We hope to experience them all! Today we went to Halloween Town at Boca Park for the first time. It’s the original location and has been around for over 20 years.  This particular pumpkin patch has rides and games geared for 2 – 11 year olds which is perfect for Lyric and London because they are 6 and 4.

Mommy and Daddy’s little pumpkins

Lyric and London screamed with excitement when we pulled up to Halloween Town. We entered through the pumpkin patch, which had a huge variety and selection of pumpkins on display for purchase and for photo opportunities. By my request, we took some family photos first because the lighting was great and I knew that I would lose the girls once they saw all the games and rides inside.

The corn maze

We started with the corn maze. Lyric and London had fun running through the maze, only taking a few wrong turns.

The carnival games

We moved on to the carnival games. They had the usual games like ring toss and dart balloons. There were also games that everyone was a winner and had no time limits, since the pumpkin patch was geared towards younger children. For example, Lyric and London caught a toy fish and spun a giant wheel for a prize. Élan and I got in on the action and played a few games too. Every time we won, there was a lot of jumping up and down, laughs and high-fives. We came home with a bunch of cute stuffed animals!

The carnival rides
Vintage rides from the 50s

Lyric and London spent the last hour there enjoying all of the rides. I would highly recommend getting the all day ride wristband, because if your kids are like mine, they want to go on the rides as many times as they can. Plus, we got there right when the pumpkin patch opened in the afternoon, so there were no lines. The girls had fun going down the giant slides and the rides were actually vintage ones from the 50s. The smiles on their faces waving at us as they came around were priceless.

So many things to see and do at the pumpkin patch

Besides the pumpkin patch, carnival games and rides, there were also bounce houses, vendors, pumpkin decorating and a huge tented food court. We took one last family photo on our way out.

Halloween Town’s Ricky Wilson and team

The EMpower Family would like to thank Halloween Town for hosting Lyric and London’s ride wristbands and family packs. We had an amazing time spending time as a family and creating new memories!

Have you been to Halloween Town in Las Vegas? What is your favorite pumpkin patch were you are from?
